Chinese Colorful Yellow Base Qing Dynasty Porcelain Dragon Vases. Depicting dragons chasing flaming pearls throughout exterior. The movement “Dragon Chasing The Pearl” shows that the dragon is continually in the pursuit of wisdom. The dragon moves in a wave-like pattern achieved by the coordinated swinging of each section in succession. Each vase is decorated with a pair foo lion masks, they are guardian lions symbols of prosperity, success, and guardianship.
